Both have a very high importance in Hinduism. Author of Ramayana is Rishi valmiki Ramayana is one of the largest literature. It has 24,000 verses, divided into seven Kandas (books) and about 500 sargas (chapters). The Seven Kandas are – Bala kanda, Ayodhya kanda, Aranya kanda, Kishkindha kanda, Sundara kanda, Yuddha kanda, Uttara kanda.

Ramayana is a Indian epic poem write by valmiki who narrate struggle divine by the prince Rama to rescue his wife sita from the demon king ravana... along with the Mahabharata,it's form the Hindu itihasa....
