Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

mx²+nx+p=0

sum of zeroes= -n/m

product  of zeroes = p/m

a+b= -n/m

(a+b)²=(-n/m)²

a²+b²+2ab=n²/m²

a²+b²+2(p/m)=n²/m²

a²+b²=n²/m² -(2p/m)

         =(n²-2pm)/m²
