4:3. If there were 20 more boys and 12 less girls, then the ratio would have been
2 : 1. How many students were there in the class?​

let no.of boys =4×

no.og girls=3×

total students =7x

Now,

20 boys increased so,

2× +20

12 girls less so,

1×-12

total students= (2× +20) +(1× -12)

7× =3× +8

7×-3× = 8

4× = 8

× = 2

total studets = 7× = 7×2 = 14
