x+1=0

x=0-1

x=-1

(-1)2 - 2(-1) - 3

-2+2-3

-2-1

Answer:

 {x}^{2}  - 2x - 3 \\  {x}^{2}  - (3 - 1) - 3 \\ {x}^{2}  - 3x + x - 3 \\ x(x - 3) + 1(x - 3) \\ (x - 3)(x + 1) \\ if(x - 3) = 0 \\ x = 3 \\ if(x + 1) = 0 \\ x =  - 1 \\ x = (3 \: and \:  - 1)ans.
