It is because Egypt is a Saharan country and located on the bank of Nile. The higher concentration of sediments from the world's longest river had turned the soil black, rich in humus.

2. The King in Egypt was known as the Pharaohs

This word actually means a great house or a royal palace in Egyptian language. They used this for naming their kings from the year 18th Dynasty (New kingdom)

3. Pyramids were the tombs of the kings.

The Pyramids of Giza or the tombs near Nile Delta were the place where the royals used to rule in the Old Kingdom. It was different for New kingdoms.
