The actual amount of water vapour in the air is called Absolute Humidity. The amount of water vapor in the air as compared with the amount of water that the air could hold is called Relative Humidity. This amount of space in air that can hold water changes depending on the temperature and pressure.

The periodical rise and fall of the sea level, once or twice a day, mainly due to the attraction of the sun and the moon, is called a Tide. Movement of water caused by meteorological effects (winds and atmospheric pressure changes) are called surges. Surges are not regular like tides.

Answer:

1) The amount of water vapor in the air is called absolute humidity. The amount of water vapor in the air as compared with the amount of water that the air could hold is called relative humidity. This amount of space in air that can hold water changes depending on the temperature and pressure.

2) Tide are the rise and fall of sea levels caused by the combined effects of gravitational forces exerted by the Moon, Sun and rotation of the Earth. The effect of moon is most prominent among all the factors. Rise of ocean level is called high tide and fall of ocean level is called low tide.
