Miriam and Ali are meeting after a long time , and the latter is on his death bed.
Miriam: Father I am so sorry for abandoning you so badly! Please forgive me!
Ali: (speaking with difficulty) It is OK my daughter. I thought I would not be able to see you at all. Thank God you have come.
Miriam: Won't you scold me for being selfish?
Ali: No. Your going away was God's plan to teach me a lesson. I have learnt it . I am peaceful. Always remember I love you.
Miriam: But father please forgive me. I know you were hurt and forlorn on account of me.
Ali: No dear I am not. My time is drawing near. I urge you to love your daughter more than I loved you. And yes, do look after the partridges and hares after me. God bless you!
Miriam: What else father? Can I do anything else that will give you happiness?
Ali: (Breathing hard) If possible, spend most of the money in my bank account in having a sanctuary built for partridges, hares and any animal needing shelter. If possible do supervise the running of the sanctuary yourself. My daughter always remember that the only thing that matters in the end is how much you truly loved and respected the persons and animals that God gave you the opportunity to meet in your life time. (Breathes his last peacefully.)
