The India of 2022 in the eyes of today’s youth

India is among the fastest growing economies today. With a quarter of its population below the age of 14, India’s youth are the country’s biggest asset. A recent survey* reveals that Indian teenagers closely follow political and economic developments and remain optimistic about India’s future. Their dreams and aspirations are about a new India. As the world’s largest democracy prepares to celebrate the 75th year of Independence, we asked India’s future scientists, leaders and change-makers how they imagine India to be in 2022. The young participants of our STEM** programme – Muskaan – also talk about their contribution to the new India of tomorrow.
