Imagine a clock where the hour hand makes only one revolution in 1 day (i.e., 24 hr) whereas the minute hand completes one revolution in one hour. What is the angle between the two hands at 14:50 hr as per this clock? 1) 90° 2) 120° 3) 77.5° 4) 162.5°

77.5 degrees. Bec in a 24 hr clock each hr wud be of angle 360/24= 15 degrees. So first we take the angle between 15hrs and 20 hrs(since minute hand is 50mins which is at 20 hrs... check by drawing a clock) i.e. we calculate the angle for 5 hrs which is 5×15 = 75 degrees. Then we add the angle for 10 mins alone(since 15 hrs-10 mins wud be 14 hrs 50mins). To find angle for 10 mins we divide the degree of each hour by 60 mins and then multiply by 10 mins i.e. 15/60= 0.25 degrees. 0.25×10=2.5 degrees. Adding 2.5 degrees from 75 degrees we have 77.5 degrees and that's your answer. I know the explanation is quite lengthy.... hope u understand
