imagine an elephant of mass 2000kg and foot area of 250 cm^2 is standing on floor.find the pressure exerted by the elephant.(take g=10m/s^2)​

and

force = mass \times accelaration

here mass = 2000kg

and acceleration = 10 m/s^2 i.e acceleration due to gravitity

now, force = ( 2000 × 10 )N

= 20,000N

foot area of the elephant = 250 cm^2

= 0.025 m^2

so, pressure = ( 20,000 / 0.025 ) pascal

= 80,000 pascal
