----THE WAY TO THE DESERT ----

It was a hot summer day . Me and my family were enjoying a desert safari . Suddenly we felt a strong wind flowing through the area in and around us . We were very confused about the sudden climate change . We felt a huge storm . I looked around and saw that my family was no where in that place . I was very scared because I never went to that place as it was a vacation trip there. I walked few miles in search of my family but I couldn't find them at all. I was tensed cause I was only 13 year old that time . Tears came in my eyes but I controlled myself . I felt somebody was calling me from far away . I screamed and wanted to reply to that voice .

It was evening , I felt hunger but I had no way to escape the situation. I checked by mobile phone. It was switched off because of low battery . I could not find any house near by to take a shelter . I was very hungry .

I felt a horror type of feeling near me . I heard kids screaming out of fear . I started crying . I wanted to move and I cried for help but there was no one to help me. I fell asleep .

When I woke up , I saw that I was lying in the bed and my mom was ready with a cup of tea. I literally got confused and asked her about the incident . She said me , " My child , it was a bad dream, now you wake up from the bed and go for brushing " . I smiled and kissed my mom and said her , " Mom , please always be with me in every ups and downs ". She replied ,"My child , you to your work we are always with you " .

HOPE IT HELPS YOU

Explanation:

It was autumn of 2018, though the summer had just past but the weather was still quite hot and dry. One day my father told me that there is a car rally being organized in desert and we are going to watch it and we will also go for desert safari. I had no idea of how desert looks like except that it is a barren piece of land. We left early on that day, soon we were out of city suburbs and reached desert. We stopped at few view points which were made for spectators to view the car race. Soon we reached the final stand where the race was supposed to finish. My father gave me a big hat to put on and we started watching the car race. It was a hot sunny day, there were sand dunes every where. We were seated on a relatively raised ground and view was quite open. It was dry barren land everywhere with no signs of water. There were few local people there too who were having camels with them. I was getting bored I quitely left the place to look for some canteen item. I came down from the top of the dune where we were seated, suddenly I saw a pond of water in near distance I was surprised and I started walking towards it. However, soon I realized that as I am moving towards the water it is moving further away. I started moving quickly but I couldn't reach it. It was scorching sun out there and I got tired and felt thrusty but I found out that I had left my water bottle at stand. I wanted to reach back to my location but I realized I have come quite a little too far and I couldn't see it. I was scared as it was a lonely place. I tried to look for my footprints but the wind had merged them with sand. I was not able to find my way back. There was no shade around and I was becoming dehydrated. I decided to climb a nearby little dune. Meanwhile, as I reached the top, I heard someone shouting my name I also started screaming loudly. My father and few people were searching for me soon they found me. I was so happy to see my father again. I also realized my mistake of leaving the place without informing anyone. Later on reaching home my father told me that this phenomenon of seeing water in desert is basically an illusion and it is called mirage. It was a scary event which taught me lot of lessons.
