..QUESTION..

Imagine that you are a British administrator leaving India in 1947 . You are writing a letter home where you discuss what is likely to happen to India without the British . What would be your views about the future of India ?

..ANSWER..

If I were a British Administrator at the time of Indian Independence ( 1947 ) . My letter would cover the following outcomes :

ㅤㅤㅤ☯︎ POSITIVE RESULTS

1 ) The trade and other source of incomes like agriculture , transportation etc will be limited to Indians.

2 ) There will be no tax for using own property.

3 ) The facilities provided by Britishers will be in control of the Native peoples.

ㅤㅤㅤ☯︎ NEGATIVE RESULTS

1 ) Although the Indians may got the absolute power to use the facilities of the Britishers but due to lack in experience and knowledge there may be some minor problems for the handling of such resources.

2 ) There will be an impact to on the Education system , which is much important to go with the world.

3 ) Indians would face problem during Import -Export trade as , maximum of the goods are transported to and from England.

Dear . . . . . .ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤ \sf{\dfrac{Place}{DD/MM/YY}}

ㅤㅤㅤHello , . . . . . . . I am Louis Peterson , the British Administrator . I am now to leave India as their Independence was declared a moments ago . Since we are having the power to Govern India for many decades , I noticed one thing that even the Indians don't like the Britishers , still they need our resource's experience . We contributed many educational background but as the time of leaving this country is near , I am going to tell what would be the situation after we leave . I can surely say that the Indians will get the complete power over our contributions but they will have to understand the concepts . To go with this current situation they must have all the institutional assets . But there may be a end in the Tax system.

answer: Question 1.

Imagine that you are a British administrator leaving India in 1947. You are writing a letter home where you discuss what is likely to happen to India without the British. What would be your views about the future of India ?

Answer:

(1) Without the British, India would not remain united but it would divide into various parts : among different language speakers between high castes and low castes; Hindu and Muslim; the rich and the poor.

(2) It would again adopt some inhuman customs and become an uncivilised country.

(3) Indians are incompetent to take responsibility. They have no sense of duty and a commitment to work. So, the country would again be enslaved.
