Sir,

I shall be thankful to you if you kindly publish the following lines in the columns of your popular newspaper.

Let me express my concern over the difficulty of children who are forced to work under inhuman and unsanitary across the country. It is certainly shameful to see children serving in different places.

I saw some children working in small shops. Instead of education, they were assigned work. Some poor children used to accumulate garbage and earn money. They have no other option. The government has launched many skim but it has not spread everywhere. More children are unaware of the facilities provided by the government. Even most poor parents send their children to work because they have no other alternative. They become dependent. Parents do not know about the free education provided for children by the government. Such children are exploited, overworked, abused, and even beaten.

Children are the future of our country. To get educated is the basic right of every child. They will build our nation. If they are not educated, how will they help in the development of our country?

The government should reach near such children and they must take major steps to eradicate child labour and punish the employers. Poor parents should be inspired to send their children to school.

Yours truly

Anjali
