Tom asked me to whitewash Aunt Polly's fence as he said that he would lend me a helping hand. That was the most fun experience of my life. As I reached Aunt Polly's lawn I saw two pails of paint. One was a milky white and the other brown in colour. I hadn't had any experience before this so it actually was the first time doing it. I thought I'd have a tough time doing it but it went smoothly. From time to time I imitated a steam boat to make Tom laugh. Joe came in between and started splashing paint on us. I thought what a nuisance. Now we would have to repaint the fence. But eventually, we looked at the big picture and the splashes of the paint on the fence made it look better.
