Dear friend,

Last week I went for Mahabalipuram held by our college for an educational purpose. I was impressed when I saw the handcrafted statues there. It was a part of historical stories. There was a different kind of Statues, Stones, and much more things to see. The things I saw there was very Interesting and Impressive. It was an education Tour. I enjoyed that tour very much. I am thankful to my College.

Mahabalipuram is at a distance of 60 km from the city of Chennai.  It is known as the temple city.

Our school took us there for an educational tour, and we were fascinated to see the group of monuments of the 7th and 8th century BC made during the Pallava dynasty.

We saw some of the intrinsic carvings on the monuments and also learnt that UNESCO had declared the place as a World Heritage site.
