Answer:

Many of us, though for the most part physically whole, have occasionally lost track of the things that really matter: positiveness, love, acceptance of our lot in life, faith in ourselves and our abilities, believing we've been put here for a reason, and so on. It's easy to take things for granted in the day-to-day.

Have you heard something like this before? "No matter how bad things get, you always have it better, much better, than someone, so be grateful."

Imagine having no arms to stretch in the morning, to help you scratch that itch, to allow you to wrap your arms around your loved ones. Imagine having no legs to kick pebbles down the street, to walk or run, to bicycle or skateboard, or get you from point A to point B.

Then imagine both at once, which is what Nick Vujicic (Vooy-cheech) has faced his whole life. Without any warning whatsoever, Nick was born with no arms or legs. As luck would have it, his mom was a nurse, and his father, a pastor.

Of course they were worried what sort of life he'd be able to lead. Would he ever be able to enjoy himself? Would he go to school, have friends, or ever get married?

But an amazing thing happened. He saw past his limbs and his body to something more important and enduring: his spirit and his attitude.

Meet Nick, an inspiration to us all, no matter how good or bad we have it.

Answer:

Nick: Father, do you think it will work out well, father?

Nick’s Father: Sure son. Don’t be worried about anything. I have talked to your principal. She has assured me she will look after you.

Nick: Father, everyone in the class just keeps staring at me!

Nick’s Father: I know it. In fact not in class only, wherever you go, people stare at you!

Nick: I don’t like it. I begin feeling self-conscious.

Nick’s Father: You are very strong my son; you will have to be stronger still. I want you to be educated among normal children for so many reasons. If I have you educated with special children, you won’t ever be able to develop immense power lying dormant in you.

Nick: I will try my best, Father.

Nick’s Father: Don’t forget that many disabled personalities have also gone through mental anguish that you are feeling now. For example, Helen Keller.

Nick: I will remember it, Father. Thanks for the motivation.
