Mrs. Packletide had killed the wrong animal and the tiger had died of heart attack. Only I knew this. Every newspaper and magazine reported the killing of the tiger and Mrs. Packletide did not deny it. I found that enough reason to blackmail her and that is how she bought the cottage.
