Answer:

WILL NOT STAY IN INDIA

Explanation:

In my knowledge the Mughal Empires' last Emperor was Bahadur Shah Zafar (1857-1858) who exiled towards Bengal because of betrayal and then became a pensioner under the Britishers.

The Doctrine of Lapse was introduced by the then Governor General, Lord Dalhousie, in the year 1848 to 1856.

After the death of Aurangzeb (1618-1707) the Mughal Empire saw a horrible downfall.

There were too many treasons, betrayal or what we can say the GOT of the Mughals. Also, if we were to take a closer look at the features of Doctrine of Lapse for which I would highly suggest you to check out BYJU's explanation of The Doctrine Of Lapse specifically the Features, will give you a better understanding that it would be foolish of me to be angry at all. Rather I will leave the country and head back where I belonged. When Bahadur Shah Zafar could not save himself from the clutches of the Britishers making him a mere pensioner from a Nawab then political aspirations will take me nowhere.

P.S. If there is anything that you would like to add then do mention under the comments because we are here to discuss and explore!
