Answer:

If I were the narrator who met Mrs. Dorling, this would be my reaction,

Explanation:

Dear Amy,

I told you that I was going to meet the owner of my belongings soon. Well, I went to 46 Marconi Street and came across a woman named, Mrs. Dorling.

When I met Mrs. Dorling I was quite glad at first because I knew that she was the woman who had my belongings. Those belongings which were very dear to me. Those belongings were a mirror to my past and held a precious place in my heart. When I looked at my things I was deeply touched as all the memories started flooding back. The problem was that these things didn't feel like mine anymore. These items were like objects sitting in front of me. I didn't feel the connection to them anymore. I knew this was probably because of the war and how our lives had been affected because of it. I still remembered my mother and how these items were supposed to remind me of her, but instead they reminded me of the depressing times I had. I wanted to leave the house and so I did. I left immediately.

I must leave now, I cannot seem to say anything more at the moment.

Imagine that you are the narrator of the story. You enter the house and after waiting a few minutes, other people begin to arrive. It is now the afternoon of the following day. Write a letter to your elder brother or sister describing your impressions of the house and your experiences since you discovered it. In your letter you should: • Discuss how you first discouraged the house • Describe your thoughts and feelings when you met the man leaving the house • Explain what you discovered after you entered the house • Write about 250-350 word
