Imagine you are the president of the Youth association of your locality. Write a discursive article to the chairperson of the buildings that fall under your locality explaining to them why Street Art is a good art form and why should youngsters be allowed to paint the walls of your streets.

Street art is a modern art form. It involves painting on the streets themselves, or walls of the streets. Street art done with a bad intention amounts to vandalism, but in itself, street art can be an effective way of channelising the energy and creativity of the youth. I would recommend asking the youth to come forward and participate in street art activities in our city.
As it is, keeping a check on each and every youngster's activities is not possible; so, it is next to impossible to have the walls free of art. Inviting them to a designated space, to showcase their talent will turn the problem of law and order into an opportunity for them.
There are many talented youngsters who are capable artists, but do not have a platform to express themselves.
The city's street art activities will give them that chance and maybe even connect them with potential employers and generate employment for them. This will inevitably reduce the frustration among the younger generation and also help society connect to the youth and understand their thought processes.
Further, art can add both vibrancy and character to the city landscape. It will emanate the spirit of the city and highlight whatever matters the most to the citizens. It will also be an additional attraction for visitors.
Research indicates that art is a form of expression and communication. So, I, as the president of the Youth Association of the Northern Zone suggest that the city authorities try this out as a trial project. The effects can be evaluated after a given period of time.
