The story of Genie and the Millionaire
Once upon a time, a millionaire was driving to work in his fancy car. All of a sudden, an old rusty car hits his car hard from the back. Surprized and angry, the millionaire pulls over and gets out to confront the driver. An old white-bearded man appears out of the car and takes the resposibility for the damage:
“My bad, son. Couldn’t stop the car in time. You see it got really old; I probably should buy a new car. Anyway, let’s sit and talk. How much do you want for the compensation?”
The millionaire looks for a moment at the old man who is wearing torn old clothes, and says:
“No, that is okay. I don’t need your money. Just be careful next time”.
To which the old man replies:
“Who do you think I am?! Some poor old man? Let me show you something”
And opens the back of his car; takes out a strange ceramic bottle and starts rubbing it. Moments later, a genie swirls out of the bottle and starts speaking with a loud voice:
“I AM THE GENIE AND TELL ME WHAT YOU WISH”
The old man proudly looks at the millionaire who is now shaking with fear, and says to the genie:
“Make us some tea while we talk about the cost of the damage”
Now the millionaire with his business mindset sees the opportunity and offers the old man to buy the genie. After long negotiations, the old man finally agrees to sell the genie for a crazy amount of money.
The millionaire goes home and brags to his wife:
“I bought a genie and he will make us the richest people in the world”
And orders the genie to make their house full of gold, to which the genie says:
“I am sorry. But, I can only make tea”
