Solution :-
There are socks of 4 different colours in the drawer. There are 4 black socks, 8 brown socks, 2 white socks and 8 tan socks. You have to pull out the socks in order to get a match but there is no light in the room and you cannot see.
As there are 4 different coloured socks in the drawer to choose from, you only need to take 5 socks to get a match of similar coloured socks. The 5th socks you pick out, will be the of the matching you need.
Suppose, first you pick up black coloured one, then brown, then white and then tan coloured. After picking 4 different coloured socks when you will pick the 5th one, that will be the matching pair.
