Complete answer:

Good morning to my fellow friends and teachers. Today, on this momentous occasion of ‘Independence Day’, I would like to talk about something that is very close to my heart - my beloved country. Specifically, the India of my dreams. The first thing that the title of this speech reminds me of, is the book by Mahatma Gandhi by the same name. In that book, the father of our nation described his dream for India’s future as a free and democratic country. In that book, he said ‘I would like to see India free and strong so that she may offer herself a willing and pure sacrifice for the betterment of the world. India’s freedom must revolutionize the world’s outlook on peace and war. Her importance affects the whole of mankind’. Unfortunately, he died before these dreams were realized.

I think it is safe to say that my dream for India is a little different to the one Gandhiji had. We have progressed a great deal since independence, but what we see now, is something that invokes a deluge of fear in myself and my peers. Being young in this country almost seems like a crime, and most problems are being blamed on the younger generation, even though we had no part in creating them. The political situation in the country is even more frightening. In the India of my dreams, I believe that nobody should be too poor to live, nobody should be too poor to learn, and nobody should be above the law. In my dream for this country, women are just as respected as men and are paid equally. They are given the right to choose for their own body. The color of your skin, your religion, your gender, your sexuality should not determine your social standing. Everybody’s vote is counted equally. Everybody’s safety is taken care of. In my dreams, the government of this country works for the people. Roads are in working conditions, pollution is being taken seriously.

It is saddening to think that most of these statements which seem arbitrary to my generation are radical to the ears of the elders. It is saddening that this has not already happened. It is extremely difficult to believe that there is still a long way to reach the place which I believe is the India of my dreams. I believe that this country deserves better. Thank you. Jai Hind.

Explanation:

Respected Principal, teachers, and my dear friends, Today, 15th August, is the day India won her freedom. No doubt, at that time the citizens of free India had many dreams for their country, some of which would have certainly come true. I, Rohan Mehta, often think about my dream' India too, and I would like to tell you something about it.

In the India of my dreams, there would be no poverty. Every Indian would be able to live a comfortable life. Every single person would be literate and the acquisition of knowledge would be open to all, irrespective of caste, creed or religion. Corruption eats away a country, and in my dream India there would be no corrupt people. Truth and sincerity would reign.

The growth of the population would be controlled and there would be no shortage of natural resources.

Every man, woman and child would be able to hold up his or her head with dignity and self-respect. There would be no dependence on other countries for the fulfilment of our basic needs. India would have her rightful place among the other countries of the world, and these same countries would look up to her with respect. There would be no need to have a police force because there would be no crime and no criminals everyone would be happy and content with what they had.

This is my dream India in brief and there are many more things I would like to add to this list.

I will certainly do my bit to make my dream come true. Will all of you do so too? Thank you

it may help you and please mark me brainliest
