Kite flying is one the most cherished festivals of our country's children and youth, particularly. Lately, a kite flying festival was organized on the 22nd of January, 2019. People of every age seemed to be excited about the kite festival. It was a good day with a clear sky.
The wind was strong enough to lift the kites. People kept aside their work and students took an off from schools and colleges to celebrate this festival. Hundreds of people were seen on their rooftops under the same sky to fly their kites. It was time to rejoice irrespective of differences. The entire city was filled with enthusiasm and peace.
We all enjoyed a lot. Such events must be arranged on a regular basis for they keep the nation in high spirits and helps it remain intact.
Greenwoods School Organized Kite Flying Fest
Greenwoods Global School, City organized Kite Flying Fest at its campus on November 24, 2018. Students had a great fun at the school! Inter-class and inter-house kite flying contests were held. Colorful kites and strings were brought to school by students. The sky over the school was filled with multi-colored kites.
The contest was won by Bose house students by cutting maximum number of kites. The winners were awarded medals and certificates by the principal and the members of the school management. The parents had also been invited to witness the kite-flying fest. Everyone enjoyed the kite festival.
