Actually I forgot the format but still I will write the entry..
Dear Diary,
today was a big day for me and I have proven myself infront of my friends, my teammates and my respected coach.
Today was the inter-state cricket competition final and my team, Delhi cubs, played so well that I was surprised to see so much anticipation and energy in my teammates! I already saw the trophy in their eyes. We had to score 147 in 20 overs. I was the fourth to bat. Our openers did the most of the work and they had a 64 runs patnership!! But soon when we reached at 64, one of them got out and the third batter, Deepak was sent to pitch. But after making 15 runs, he got out by catch. My coach said to me, "Aman, get ready. Now its up to you and Arun (The second batter). Its your time now". I was excited but horrified at the same time. I don't know why. First ball came and it straight came on my pad. I couldn't do anything and the bowler screamed 'Howzaaatttt!!' to just get a LBW. Umpire said no. I took a breath of relief. And then, after the next ball, I scored a six. My confidence level rose up. And I managed to make 46 runs. Last two balls remaining and 2 runs needed. We could do it easily but I wanted to score a half century (yes, I became greedy at that time). But, I missed the ball. I then felt and talked to myself, "Oye Aman! What have you done? Just because you want to score your half century?? Don't make your team suffer..". The Baller was running and I Was just looking at his wrist and ball. Took a deep breath, The ball straight came at my feet as it was a yorker. I pulled it off to the Off-side. The ball was so fast that I just gave it direction, and it crossed the boundary. We all were shouting like Demons!! We all went crazy and partied!! That feeling when you can feel the trophy in your hands is amazing! Now, everthing has finished and the coach has given us time of one week to rest. I can utilise that time for studies now. Let's see!
