and carrying just the things we need. Made of dust. earth and microbe too because we're borderless. Our

life enters us from water,

bodies bare and woven by this

across nations, grids

and laws, like leaves,

a girdle, strong a crown, since Easter comes

vines, maybe even

yet - a band of thorns.

Hard pressed in, though

May your love be like

protective of the shrub's soft colours, its labours. a prickle, adding to and joined in multiples.
