Returning home from work through the Jungle and he heard the sound of anklets from behind and he thought that some lady might be passing by the jungle. It was dark night and time was around 8.00 PM. He was late from the city market and was running back to the home through the dense jungle. Again after taking few steps, he heard the same sound and turned back to see that who is there, but when he turned back no one was there. Now he felt scary and started running with more speed towards his home. Now, there was no such sound of anklets and he got relaxed and thought that that was some lady of the village whose anklets sound was entering his ears. But just at that moment, that sound started blowing continuously and he turned back and saw that there was a lady in pure white saree and his face was covered with white cloth. He asked that lady that where she wants to go but lady didn’t replied. He asked him again the same then she stared at him. He saw that her eyes were purely white from inside and when she told her that she lives in this jungle, he got more scared because her voice was not women voice and she was roaring like a wild men. Then he saw towards her feet and he shocked to see that her fingers of feet were to the backward side and he realised that she is a witch. He didn’t asked him anything more and just turned back towards his house and ran away from that place. He was scared and due to that he thrown even his baggage there. Somehow, he reached his house but due the fear of witch, he was sweating like anything and remain in fever for many days. When he told this story to his parents and friends, since that day, everybody believes that that jungle is owned by that witch and who so ever will enter that jungle, he will be not survive. I never believed in existence witches, but this story forced me to think about their presence in our surroundings.
