Dear Dairy,
Today I really went through a tough struggle trying to save our ancestral heirlooms from the thieves who broke into our house early morning. As it was my exam today I had woken up early in the morning to find there was some sound coming to from the attic, rooftop room.
I thought it could be some birds who were trying to peck at the tiles on the roof but when the sound persisted I knew something was weird about it.
But as I had to prepare for my exam for a while I ignored the sound thinking that thieves were the last option. They couldn't barge into a home because it was highly secured.
After an hour then I went to take a shower, suddenly I heard the thumping of the floor on the top so I immediately got out of the bath and rushed out to call my parents who were still sleeping in their room.
When we all rushed up the ladder to the attic we found that the heirlooms, our ancestral property were in the hands of two thieves who just about to escape out of the glass tile that was to filter in sunlight.
Seeing all of us altogether they grew so nervous that they dropped the heirlooms crashing on the floor.
Thankfully we fended ourselves on time otherwise we would have broken our heads.
Dad heaved a sigh of relief and said that he would grilled the glass window now onwards for safety.
And I was thankful that I still would be able to give my exam.Good Night
