The great Mughal Emperor Akbar ascended the throne at a really young age of 13 in the year 1556 after his father Humayan passed away. At such a tender age and with mourning of my father's death, I would have done the following things:
- I would sit with the ministers of the court to get hold of the daily affairs of the court.
- I would go through the records of my father's work to ensure that no work is kept pending.
- I would sit the army general to keep a check on any threats.
- I would personally meet the allies of my kingdom so that I can maintain the same bond.
- I would make arrangements for the needy and look after my subjects for the welfare of my throne.
- Last but not the least I would do whatever is best for the welfare of the kingdom.
