Dear dairy

2 Feburary 2017

Today when I was going to the bakery to bring the cake I ordered for my partents, as you know its their anniversay today. There was this small boy of about 6 years who was there with her sister and she was about 4 years. He looked poor but that boy had this shine on this face which drew my attention towrds him. As i saw him, he smiled and i smiled back too. Then he came to me and asked, “Bhaiya, can you please tell me the total amount i have to pay to this shop for this Pastery i bought and how will they return to me if i give them this 50 Rupees note”. I asked the counter how much that pastery costs and he replied 65 bucks which shows that the boy didnt have enough money to pay for that pastery. When i looked at boy i saw he was feeding that pastery to his little sister. I went to him and asked why is he not eating eveen i single bite to which he replied. “Bhaiya i bought this pastery for my sister, When my mother was about to die she asked to me take ggood cake of her and i promised her that i will”. I felt really emotional and smiled and said, “Boy, this pastery is free for you” to which he immediatly replied, “No bhaiya, i have to pay for what i bought . i cant take it for free” which made me feel so good from inside. I smiled and replied, “This is free becuase they are introducing this pastery in thier shop and they are complementry for today, So you also can have one if you want” He smiled and said, “No thanks bhaiya, i just want my sister to be happy” and left. I went to counter and paid for the cake as well as the pastery that boy purchased. While returning home i was so happy and i promise myself today that i will never spent money unnecessarily.
