About Mary Howitt:-
Her full name was Mary Botham Howitt. She was born on 12 March in the year 1799 in the Coleford, in Gloucestershire which is located in United Kingdom.Her father name was Mr.Samuel Botham and mother name was Mrs.Anne.She was married to William Howitt on 16th April 1821. She was died on 30 January in the year 1888 in Rome,Italy.
Some of her famous poems are:-
1-The Spider And The Fly
2-The Sunshine
3-The Sea Fowler
4-The Rose Of May
5-The Old Man's Story
She had been awarded for his wonderful poem The Spider And The Fly at many places.
Note:-I ahave written about her life events and as there were not any special awards in the field of literature so he had not got any one except on award that is I have mentioned above..

in 1823 william gave up his job and started helping mary in her writing works
she many of Hans Christian Andersen's tales, such as
Only a Fiddler The Improvisators etc
She has been awarded for her famous and wonderful poem "The Spider And The Fly'' this is one of her lifetime achievements
This poem was a Caldecott Honor Book in October 2003
she had written many books such as
Little Coin, Much Care No Sense like Common Sense Love and MoneyMy Uncle the Clockmaker The Two Apprentices etc
