• It brings about poverty.While disaster can be any other activity that leads to destruction of life and even property that comes naturally.

When property meant for business is razed down by fire , the people who owned them fall broke as a result of property destruction.

• It can lead to fatalities.

This one means that it can lead to deaths , an example is when a dam breaks out , it kills people therefore making them loose their lives.

• It makes people homeless.People become homeless when their homes are destroyed as a result of a disaster such as tsunamis and even fire.
• It causes hunger.Droughts and wild fires destroy crops in the farms therefore leaving no food for human consumption.This one leaves behind hunger stricken individuals.
