To protect the well-being of animals, it is very essential to take care of them. Like us humans, animals deserve to be treated right. Although there are some philosophical and scientific debates whether animals are consciously aware of feeling decent or indecent welfare, it is our duty and responsibility to give them proper care. That is also one of the reasons why many organisations and associations all over the world are established – to safeguard the welfare of animals. They make sure that we do not abuse or harm animals whether they are our pet or a stray dog/cat that you see along the streets. This is not an issue of whether we are pet-lovers or not, it is a basic moral value that we treat every living thing with courtesy, compassion and kindness.
