Okay,

Are you ever heard Indu-hit property of Inductor.

If not , then also don't worry , let me tell you very basics in lucid language after that you can easily understand.

Inductor never violate the len’z law. Basically len’z law stated that “the direction of an induced emf is such that it will always appose the change that is causing it”

Now lets understand this definition in simple language ,it says that the change in current (di/dt )in inductor is totally resposible for the induced voltage, means change in current occurs then emf generate if no change in current then induce emf will be zero( meaning should be clear about chang in current and steady state current). But they apposes means, what? their sign will be apposite. You can see the expression in figure.

From the figure you can understand , when switch is ON, inductor will be in charging mode means (di/dt) is positive then induced emf will be negative and other hand when switch is OFF , then inductor start discharging means (di/dt) is negative then induced emf will be postive .

The direction of current in inductor will be never change instantly either in charging mode or discharging mode. Because once charges will start to flow in one direction their flowing remain in same direction ( because of inertial effect)even switch OFF instantly, but their polarity of induced emf will be change to satisfy the the len’z law .

“Keeping current in same direction an instant change in polarity of induced emf in order to justify the len’z law is called Indu-hit property of inductor”.

Concluding note:- when inductor in charging mode it behave like load (means current fall down on positive end ). When inductor in discharging mode it behave like source(means current comes out from the positive end ).
