Qutbuddin aibak started the construction of qutub minar and was finished by iltutumist.firoze shah tughlaq added the fifth storey to it.the qutub minar is one of the most famous monuments in india.some historians believe that it was used as a minaret by the muezzin to summon muslims for prayers.
