You need to understand the theorems like basic proportionality theorem, its converse , proving Pythagoras theorem and it's converse.
You will also have to understand Area theorem with its proof.
You don't have to by-heart what the theorems says as it is given in Ncert book but you can make the statement yourself just the point is that it should be relative to the concept.

A triangle has 3 sides, 3 angles and 3 vertices.
According to sides, there are 3 types: Scalene, Isosceles, Equilateral
According to angles, there are 3 types: Obtuse, Right, Acute
Sum Of all the angles =180*
Sum of any two sides > Third side
Exterior angle property: Sum of interior opposite angles= Exterior angle
