if blood does not clot in time than there will be a great loss of it. Many enzymes are responsible for the mechanism of blood clotting.

when our hand is cut blood rushes out. this has to be clotted coz if no clotting then blood inside body goes out completely.this leads to death of person. so it clotting is imp. and platlets help in clotting
