Step-by-step explanation:

20-25-20*25/100 = -5-5=-10 since it is negative it is over all loss ie 10%. loss

20 ,-25, 20*-25

20-25- 500/100 = -10

Answer:

Total Lost = 10% of x

Step-by-step explanation:

Let Imran has x rupees

If he gain the profit of 20 percent at it then

After one year the rupees of Imran = x + 20 % of x

                                                          = x + 20x / 100 = 120x/100

Now if he has a lost of 25 % on the 120x/100 then

The rupees after  second year = 120x / 100 - 25 % of 120x/100

                                                   = 120x /100 - 25(120x)/10000

                                                   = 12000x /10000 - (3000x)/10000

                                                   = 9000x / 10000 = 9x/10

Thus

The rupees after  second year = 9x/10 = 90x/100 = 90 % of x

And

Lost total lost = x - 90 % of x = 10 % of x

Thus

Total Lost = 10% of x
