In 2018, Madhu saved 26% of her annual income. In 2019, she earned 20% more than what she earned last
year and saved 25% of her annual income. The amount spent in 2019 is what percent more than that in 2018 ?

her annual savings in 2018= 26 % of 100 =26rs

then amount spent in 2018= 100rs-26rs =74rs

step 2: In 2019 ,20 % increased in salary

that means  income in 2019 = 100+(20% of 100)= 100+20 =120 rs

her annual savings in 2019 = 25% of 120 = 30rs

then  amount spent in 2019 = 120-30 =90rs

step 3:Difference=(2019 amount spent)-(2018 amount spent)

                          =90-74 =16rs

then ( 16 / 74)*100=21.62 %

there for  the amount spent in 2019 is 21.62 % more than that in 2018
