In 35 kg of milk mixed with water the ratio of milk to water is 5:2. What quantity of water must be mixed with it so that the ratio of milk to water becomes 2:7?

So  5x= 35kg.

       x= 35/5= 7.

so the ratio of water= 2*7= 14.

Therefore, The quantity of water must be mixed with milk so tht the ratio of milk to water becomes 2:7 is = 7/14= 1/2.
