In 6 hours a car travelled a distance of 270km find the distance travelled by the car in 4 1/2 hours assuming that it travelled at the same speed

since,speed=distance/time

speed =270/6=45km/h
now,distance =speed *time
45*41/2=922.5km

Here,
4 \frac{1}{2}
 =  \frac{9}{2}
 = 4.5

Then,
Distance covered by car in 6 hrs
 = 270

Therefore distance covered in 1 hr =
 =  \frac{270}{6}

=> Distance covered in 4.5 hrs =
 \frac{270}{6}  \times 4.5
 = 45 \times 4.5
 = 202.5
Hence, car travels 202.5 km in 4½ hrs.
That's your answer.
