The radius of the quarter = 3.5cm
Circumference of a circle = 2×pi×r
Perimeter of the quarter = pi×r/2 +2r
= 22/7×1/2×35/10 + 2×3.5cm
= 11/2 + 7 cm
= 5.5 + 7cm
= 12.5cm
The perimeter of the quarter correct upto one d.p. is 12.5cm.
