Solution :-

Ratio of green and red tokens = 35 : 12

Ratio of pink and red token = 25 : 18

First, we will find the common number of red tokens.

12 × 3 = 36

18 × 2 = 36

So, to get the ratio we will multiply 35 & 12 by 3 and 25 & 18 by 2

⇒ (35 : 12)*3 = 105 : 36

⇒ (25 : 18)*2 = 50 : 36

Now, the ratio of red tokens in both cases is equal.

So, the ratio of green and pink = 105 : 50

= 21 : 10

Ratio of red token : green token = 12 : 35 (Given)

Ratio of pink token : red token = 25 : 18 (Given)

Since both ratio contain the red token, we will make the number of red token the same in both ratio:

Ratio of red token : green token = 12 : 35

Multiply by 3: ⇒ Ratio of red token : green token = 36 : 105

Ratio of pink token : red token = 25 : 18

Multiply by 2:  ⇒ Ratio of pink token : red token = 50 : 36

Now that both ratio have the red token as the same (both are 36), we can combine the ratio into a single ratio:

Ratio of red token : green token : pink token = 36 : 105 : 50

Find the ratio of green token to pink token:

ratio of green ratio of green token to pink token = 105 : 50

Simplify by dividing by 5:

ratio of green ratio of green token to pink token = 21 : 10

Answer:  green token : pink token = 21 : 10
