Total no. of bulbs = 100

n(total outcomes) =100

No.of good bulbs= 70

n(favourable outcome) =70

Probability of good bulb=

Favourable outcome / total outcome

70/100

➡️7/10

Hope it helps

Answer:

7/10

Step-by-step explanation:

No. of bad bulbs = 30

Total no. of bulbs = 100

∴ No. of good bulbs = 100 - 30 = 70

Probability of an event,

P(E)  =   No. of favorable outcomes/ Total no. of outcomes

P(good bulb) = 70/100

= 7/10

Thus, probability of selecting a good bulb is 7/10
