Answer:

Let no. Of 10p coins be x

no. Of 5p coins be 2x

A/Q

10x/100 +( 5*2x)/100 = 30

20x/100=30

x=(30/20) *100

x=1.5*100=150

Now, no. Of 10p coins=x=150

no. Of 20p coins=2x= 300

Answer:

No. of 10 p coins = 150  and No. of 5 p coins = 300

Step-by-step explanation:

In a bag, there are coins of 10 p and 5 p in the ratio of 1 : 2

So, Let no. of 10 p coins be x  and no. of 5 p coins be 2x

Now, Total money in the bag = Rs. 30

⇒ 10x/100 + ( 5 × 2x)/100 = 30

⇒ 20x = 30  × 100

⇒ x = (30/20) × 100

⇒ x = 1.5 × 100

       = 150

Now, no. of 10 p coins = x = 150

no. of 5 p coins = 2x = 300
