The time taken by 10 chefs to make 230 sweets on this day is 1.8 hours.

Given:

6 chefs take 3 hours to make 230 sweets.

To Find:

We are required to find the time taken by 10 chefs to make 230 sweets on this day.

Solution:

The number of chefs is inversely proportional to the time taken.

Let c be the number of chefs and t be the time taken then the equation is

c₁t₁ = c₂t₂ ------(1)

c₁ = 6, t₁ = 3, c₂ = 10

Substitute the value of c₁, t₁, and c₂ in equation(1) we get

6×3 = 10t₂

t₂ = 18/10

t₂ = 1.8 hours

Therefore, The time taken by 10 chefs to make 230 sweets on this day is 1.8 hours.
