Answer:  Ocean and rocks can limit growth of organisms.

A beach ecosystem with rock and ocean is a intertidal area. It includes different habitat types like rock pools, rocky cliffs, boulder fields. Because of the action of tides it exhibit erosional features which swipe away many organisms inhabiting the rock or lying on the shore.

In a beach ecosystem, oceans and rocks inhibit the growth of organisms. This is because the action of ocean tides may cause the organisms inhabiting the rocks and other areas to flow away.

EXPLANATION:

Rocks also do not provide a healthy habitat for many organisms to grow. The oceans and rocks together may develop conditions in which many organisms cannot grow.

Rocks may sometimes move away with the ocean currents which means that organisms inhabiting the rocks may move to another place where their survival is not possible.
