In a beam of electron is moving from the wall at your back to the waterfront the magnetic field in the room is perpendicular upward in what direction The Beam will be deflected.​

It will deflect in upward direction.......alpha particles will deflect in downwards direction the rule used is Flemming's Left hand rule
