Given : In a bicycle company, it requires 36 machines to produce some number of bicycles in 54 days.

To find : How machines would be required to produce the same number of bicycles in 81 days?

Solution : Let us assume "x" as number of machine, where "x is a variable" and using this we have to find a unknown value.

:\implies\sf{x = (x *81)}

:\implies\sf{x = (54 *36)}

:\implies\sf{x = \dfrac{1944}{81}}

:\implies\sf{x =  24}

Therefore, 24 machines requires to produce the same number of bicycles in 81 days.

Answer:

assume x machines required

x= (x × 81 ) equation 1

x= (54 × 36 ) equation 2

x = 1944/81

x= 24

therefore 24 machines are required to produce the same number of bicycles in 81 days

best of luck...
