In a box, there are some pens and pencils. There are 3 more pencils than the number of pens. The
cost of a pencil is 35/- and that of a pen 310/-. If the total cost of all pens and pencils is 195/-, find
the number of pens and pencils each.

Here is ur ans.....

Let the number of pens be x

As given the no. of pencils would be 3+x

Now the cost of Pencil(3+x) = rupees 35

and the cost of pen (x) = rupees 310

Now cost of pencils are =35(3+x)

= 105+35x

now cost of pens r = 310(x)

= 310x

Now total cost of all pens and pencils r =rupees 195

310x +105+35x=195

345x =195-105

345x= 90

x= 90 /345
